RE: Top Gear - skully - 14-06-2022 14:24 Dirty Cobra. lol. RE: Top Gear - Doddle - 14-06-2022 20:08 His catchphrase seemed better when used in context than just randomly. Nice/weird to get rare mentions of Spender and Dempsey & Makepeace too. RE: Top Gear - Rammyrascal - 15-06-2022 18:01 A very funny & entertaining episode. Really love that Paddy, Freddie Flintoff & Chris Harris aren't afraid & love taking the mickey out of each other and themselves RE: Top Gear - Doddle - 20-06-2022 14:13 Though again HGVs were done by previous teams, this did at least feel fairly fresh and different. And they did try not to make it too much like a govt ad for lorry drivers. RE: Top Gear - Doddle - 27-06-2022 20:46 Again, a retread of previous cheap car challenges, plus whimsical driving through deep water silliness. I felt they slightly lost it in the last bit, though. Also no idea of what the electric pick-up would be like when it was actually loaded with stuff! RE: Top Gear - skully - 28-06-2022 11:49 Seemed like a filler episode tbh. I've seen that pick-up before on Carwow's YouTube channel (better reviewed by Mat), looks pretty good. RE: Top Gear - Tumble_Drier - 28-06-2022 12:16 ^ When Ewan McGregor & Charlie Borman did Long Way Up a few years ago they used Prototype Rivians as Support Vehicles. The company installed chargers along the route for them to charge the Trucks & Electric Harleys they rode. RE: Top Gear - Doddle - 04-07-2022 14:04 Something of a magazine format for a change to end the series. Glaringly, they stuffed the restart part of the trialling when they went into the grooves rather than around (or maybe they really weren't looking closely enough the first time). Back later in the year. RE: Top Gear - Doddle - 19-10-2022 12:39 Seemingly back the week after next. RE: Top Gear - skully - 31-10-2022 15:57 Great start, that temple in Thailand was something special, the trip looked like a lot of fun...aside from Chris hurting himself and Fred getting the rona. The Rimac is a beast, an electric car that I really like, fast in a straight line and mental sideways. lol. |
