Rafa almost certainly won't stay manager at Newcastle - he has a release clause in his contract in the event of relegation.
Thing is in the Championship, all three of those teams (Newcastle, Norwich and Villa) will be massive targets for teams. Beating them would be a huge scalp for teams like Burton, Wigan and whoever else comes up through the League One playoffs. Newcastle and Villa in particular may struggle back in the second tier. Norwich may be more used to the grinding fixture overload having been there more recently - but nontheless it's a hard slog in the Championship.
On another note with Welbeck definitely out of the Euros, will Hodgson select four or five strikers? If he goes with five would you guys pick Defoe or Carroll?

If anyone was confused as to why football is slumping in popularity; this says much. A young lad, in his first full season; otherwise unproven, 'demanding' £150K a week. Disgusting, if true.

^^ Just shows how completely out of touch with the rest of the world footballers are getting. This teenager wants more in one week than many of us will see in our lifetimes even if we combined all of our income. Sadly that's the way it's gone for so long now that there's no way back. Stupid kid.

i dont know think of it this way if you were working for someone and your workmate was earning 10 times as you and wasnt pulling his weight. you would want a raise i would say itsprob his goals that have prob got them champions league this season
im guessing rashford has got a contract extension

I wonder what he was drinking or smoking before he put in the request hope he is firmly kicked into touch by City and they farm him out to some footballing shithole as far away as from the Etihad as possible preferably a one way ticket to China!!

You dont get it he cost man city Nothing as he came thru the acadamy system and has scored 7 goals in 24 games this season Stirling cost 50 million + however much he is on a week with 6 goals from 28 games. having seen both Stirling and him this season this kid has got all the makings of a class
player. in fact if they had played him from start in the champions league semi final 2nd leg could have been different as he was the only city player who was up for the fight
All he wants is parity with a player who had one great season with liverpool and was worth 50 million. if they pay him what he is worth then he will prob make them money in the future selling him on
