RE: Dr Who - Rammyrascal - 27-09-2015 09:37 bbc have combined both episodes of the new series into a tv movie and are showing it this afternoon 3:15pm-4:45pm on bbc1 RE: Dr Who - biggles - 27-09-2015 10:17 Part 2 was a lot better than part 1 although it does mess with some of the previous concepts regarding the Daleks - interesting the role Clara played in it too. They don't normally do stuff like that at such short notice ? Is it replacing something else that's been cancelled ? (Isn't it quite early in the afternoon also for "scarier/darker" Who ?) RE: Dr Who - circles_o_o_o - 27-09-2015 11:54 I would guess they are repeating it for the benefit of everyone who was watching the rugby that was on at the same time last night, the viewing figures must have taken a hit. RE: Dr Who - munch1917 - 27-09-2015 12:32 According to my schedules, 'Eat Well For Less' was due on, so I guess it is a strategic decision to repeat it to reel in more It's only scheduled for an hour though, so there must be a fair bit cut out, last nights episode alone was 50 minutes! (felt like longer though ) RE: Dr Who - Rammyrascal - 27-09-2015 12:49 ^^ just checked my sky epg and it's still showing dr who as being 90 minutes 3:15-4:45 this afternoon on bbc1. I quite enjoyed yesterday's episode. overall a good 2 part story to start the new series. probably done it for those who have missed the episodes because of the rugby world cup RE: Dr Who - M-L-L - 28-09-2015 19:17 each episode is repeated on Friday evening BBC3 also RE: Dr Who - M-L-L - 30-09-2015 18:59 First Dalek story (William Hartnell) repeated again on Horror starting imminently tonight. Trouble is that episode gets repeated soooooo often and was also the basis for the Peter Cushing film just too well known The Chase would be a better option. RE: Dr Who - M-L-L - 30-09-2015 20:37 ^ I know what you mean about the repeats, it's been shown a lot, but I have to say imo "The Chase" is a bit of a mess of a story. Comedy Daleks...? Horror seem to just have the rights for certain stories and are just going round and round in a loop. |
