Then again, maybe it really is all about responsible childcare.

Maybe Dominic Cummings is one of Boris Johnson's many illegitimate children.

He certainly looks, sounds and behaves like a bastard ... so that checks out.

Hmmmmm....

Whatever Cummings has on Dominic Raab and Priti and Matt hsancock could be even bigger

The contempt shown by Boris unimaginable and on a scale that beggars belief, but thinking about it now...

What if it had been Corbyn's lot in power and how would he have handled it if Cummings worked for him? would it have been far worse & did we vote in the lesser of two evils at the time?
Christ, I don't think I've ever seen a reaction like this before. Scientists, MPs, Tory MPs, Bishops, Councillors, the public, they're all queuing up to have a go at Boris and Cummings.

This isn't going to go away...

Ahem. I think we have an overly keen Mod with tidying fetish on our hands laugh

As I was saying - Wink

Be nice if Hancock had to do the briefing today on his own with no scientists to help him, Johnson completely lost the scientific argument last night, lost his creditibility and the trust of public at large. the CMO & the like now need to walk away from supporting the Government at briefings.

Not to mention a e- petition ramping up pressure as well : -

The Daily Mirror were asking No 10 for a comment on their story for 6 weeks and all they got time after time was no comment. Johnson and Cummings have a history of believing themselves to be unaccountable to the people. Well they are finding out the hard way that's not true

Johnson said he wanted to unite the country - well he's achieved that in a way I've never seen before with so much anger against him

In way, I am pleased that Johnson has revealed his true colours so starkly that anyone can see it, regardless of their political persuasion, their leave/remain position or how closely they follow the news.

Sadly, none of this comes as a shock to me. I have said several times on this forum that Johnson is far, far more dangerous than Trump. He is just as lacking in conscience and empathy, he is just as craven and self-serving, but he also has the intelligence and the snake-charmer's cunning to do far more significant, long term damage.

He'll survive this, I'm sure, because as enraged as we are right now, we all have more pressing things to get on with in our lives. But I hope that at the next big cross-roads for this country -- even if it's just an election 5 years from now -- we somehow manage to remember how it felt in these last few days when his arrogance and contempt -- which is always, always there -- was just so transparent.
