RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - mikedafc - 07-06-2019 00:13 Hopefully Jo can do what Ostapenko did as she also hadn't won a main draw match before she went on her run to the title in 2017 RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - Charlemagne - 07-06-2019 10:42 Konta is self destructing. She's been 5-3 up in both sets. Vondrousova is 1 set up and just needs another game away to win the match RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - Snooks - 07-06-2019 11:15 Doh, bugger and feck Dammit and c#nty bollocks. Konta is out RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - ukdoll - 07-06-2019 11:19 juice RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - Charlemagne - 07-06-2019 11:25 Instead of raising her game, she got the Jitters. RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - Doddle - 07-06-2019 13:21 Barty still the favourite then. Bad luck for Jo. Still, it's still a great achievement, hope she can sustain it in future tournaments now. RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - mikedafc - 07-06-2019 17:50 Seems Novak decided it was windy and so play was abandoned for the day RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - lovebabes56 - 09-06-2019 05:17 (07-06-2019 13:21 )Doddle Wrote: Barty still the favourite then. it is a shame for Jo, I'm now thinking she needs to work on her mental agilities a little and get that toughness of shutting out things going on around her on court and that will improve her concentration. Her physical game is looking as sharp as anything this year, it's just her mental side that is letting her down at the moment and if she can get that together she'll likely have a great Wimbledon. I think she has thrived on clay pretty well this year. RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - Doddle - 09-06-2019 06:43 (07-06-2019 13:21 )Doddle Wrote: Barty still the favourite then.Right at last! Well done to her, first Aussie winner there for decades. RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - Doddle - 09-06-2019 20:31 Nadal inevitably beat Thiem for his 12th French Open title |
