ha ha putting a brave face on it are we? Joking aside don't think he would suit the arsenal style of play
RE: Football Banter - terence - 23-06-2016 10:24
^i don't think he would. i want us to go out and break the bank for a striker, make someone an offer they can't refuse.
RE: Football Banter - HannahsPet - 23-06-2016 10:27
thought he was going to stay when nothing was finalised before the euro's started
RE: Football Banter - terence - 23-06-2016 10:32
yeah, you don't see loyalty like that very often. it's good to see.
RE: Football Banter - setter1000 - 23-06-2016 10:58
I dont know if it is loyalty or the fact that Raneri has pleaded them to stay just one more season. He may have promised him as well as the other more illustrious names that if they stay another year he won't stand in their way if they want to leave at the end of the coming season. I Remember Ferguson making a similar deal with Ronaldo at UTD. It would also be in their interest to prove they are not one season wonders.
And Terrence leave Payet alone he is ours, so hand off, You Bitches. !!!!!!!!!!

I think its a thank you to both ranieri and the Chairman story about he was self destructing and the one of the chairman helped him get his head right. also the fact he came from non league in a few years he isnt a 19-20-21 yr old who started on 10-20 grand a week and he has grafted to get where he was
RE: Football Banter - HannahsPet - 23-06-2016 11:06
i actually think payet will stay another season @ west ham unless someone offers them a offer they cant refuse
RE: Football Banter - setter1000 - 23-06-2016 11:20
I agree. Also Payet likes to be a big fish in a small sea. WestHam are willing to build a team around him. They have Noble and Koyate to do all the dirty work for him so he can concentrate on creating goal scoring opportunities for the rest of the team. Other sides would probably expect him to help out more defensively which could blunt his playmaking capabilities. Also if he were at say Madrid he would play third fiddle to Bale and Ronaldo and could well have a few ineffective games and spend the rest of the season on the bench. At Westham even if he has two or three bad games in a row he knows he will still be the first name on the team sheet.

To be fair at this moment , apart from more money, what can Arsenal offer that Leicester can't ?

Even money might not enter it. All the clubs in the premier league have a shed load of cash to keep their best players.
