Sheffield Utd are going to struggle in the play offs.
They've got to keep their motivation over the last few matches, even though the results won't matter.
Then they've got to go again in the play offs... To me they are a good team with one outstanding player and deserve the 3rd place for promotion.

During the Burnley v Sheffield match the commentator said that the Leeds fans would be supporting Burnley.
But I don't know, is promotion the no 1 or is finishing top of the league more important.
A draw in this fixture would've been the ideal result, for Leeds with promotion secured & a 2 point gap over Burnley.
As it played out it was nice to be promoted with 2 games remaining, but even a Blades win would've required Leeds to claim just 1 point from 2 matches.
Aske either set of supporters & most just wanted promotion with going up as Champions as an added bonus.
Head to head Burnley have the bragging rights with a 0-1 win at Elland Road in a game that Leeds dominated & a draw at Turf Moor which was one of the worst games I've ever watched.
If both clubs win out then Leeds will win the title on goal difference, perhaps a reward for playing the more attacking & entertaining football.
It's the best defence in the League versus the best attack.
If you swapped Trafford & Meslier then Leeds would have the best defence in the League. Important

James Trafford and the Burnley defense have just equalled the the record for clean sheets in a season. They join Port Vale (1953-4) on 30.

The Championship relegation battle goes down to the final game.
Cardiff already gone. Plymouth all but gone.
One spot left. Any one of five could drop.

The final day is gonna be carnage eek.

The last weekend
If Leeds win their last two fixtures they win the league.
But if they win or draw either match then Burnley can win it if they beat Millwall.

For Blackburn to get promotion then.
They have to beat Sheffield Utd, difficult but Utd win be focusing on the play offs
Also two of the following has to happened
Burnley have to beat Millwall, possible
And Coventry haven't to beat Middlesbourgh, possible
And Preston have to beat Bristol City, difficult

So the best option is that Millwall lose, Coventry & draw and Blackburn win.

Given PNE's lousy start to the season, it would be an inevitable story if they ended up falling at the last fence. Hull have got Portsmouth, an easier choice than Bristol City.

Burton Albion's draw last night means they'll stay up for another 3rd-tier season after all, even as moneybags Crawley drop away.
