Not sure why de Kock didn't play in the 1st ODI, but he's just reach 50 from 26 balls, makes batting so easy.

Pakistan looked relatively comfortable at 248-3 until the combination of Cummins & Starc blew them away with the las 7 wickets falling for 20 runs, & the last 4 fell without a run being added.
Pakistan picked 5 front-line bowlers in an attacking move to give themselves better option to win the match, which has backfired. Australia have now found a genuine allrounder in Green, giving balance to their side, & with Starc & Cummins batting at 8 & 9, they have depth to their batting.

RE: Cricket Banter - Boomerangutangangbang - 25-03-2022 14:00

Lot of turning points on the final day, dropped catches, & some indifferent umpiring lead to poor use of the review system by both sides.
After coming up short in the last Test, Australia were worthy of a 1-0 series win. Cummins was named Man of the Match, as much for his captaincy, especially a tempting declaration, as for his 8 wickets. Khawaja with 91 7 104 no, had the consolation of Player of the Series with 496 runs in his country of birth.
Lyon put to bed the criticism of having a poor record when bowling in his 2nd innings, with a 5 wicket haul.
