When Jo is the underdog she seems to rise to the occasion so she has good chance against Svitolina. It is when she is the favourite in latter stages of Grand Slams that she struggles

It was never going to be easy. It's just disappointing that in the women's game that more of our female players don't draw enough inspiration from Jo's performances and back her up in competitions.
