Well done Andy Murray - Well and truly flying the flag for Scotland Big Grin in Sunday's final after having booked his place with a 2 -1 set victory over Jerzy Janowicz from Poland.

Once again I think this was a very nervy match at times but for other reasons. The 20 minute delay for the roof to be closed was an absolute farce and I feared it might have upset Andy's rhythm. I was also delighted to see him beat this guy as I found his conduct at times not to be very sporting. Justice was served. Well done Andy Murray Big Grin

Murray will meet Novac Djokovic in Sundays final. He has beaten Novac before on grass and has a great chance. Hopefully Novac will still be feeling effects of his 4 hour plus marathon with Del Potro on Friday.

Rarely have I been happier for any sportsman than I am for Andy Murray right now.
He has been part of possibly the greatest and toughest era of mens tennis of all time. Federer, Nadal, Djokovic - 35 grand slam titles between them.
Only a couple of US Open wins for Del Potro and Murray himself broke up the domination of those 3 men of grand slam events.
Make no mistake, Murray has had to learn some pretty painful lessons in a brutally tough tennis era. But now, at long last he has reached his holy grail.
All the toil, the worry, the doubts, the pain, the misery, the despair, the wondering if if it was ever going to happen can be consigned to the bin once and for all.
He has resolved himself to work incredibly hard to reach the heights he has now scaled. Pushed himself to limits that most of us could not even begin to comprehend and let his raw emotion in triumph and despair become clear to us all.
From seeming overwhelmed by a sense of occasion and crippling fear of defeat with many a tantrum along the way to a positively focussed man on a mission who knew he was good enough to find a way to win and finally trusted his technique and his game to achieve his dream.
From trying not to lose to going full tilt for victory.
The state of mind battle has finally been won.
Inspired by opportunity instead of crippled by doubt.
He is entitled to be a very proud man tonight.
Many congratulations to him Big Grin.
