I appreciate you counting so far, I was tempted to start now but with so long left to go, people might change their votes so I'd say hold off on the counting until around about the official deadline to avoid any changes of votes. Either that or at least wait until a post is two days old and can't be edited.
Also, could you PM me your method of counting? I've not got mine totally worked out for this system yet so might be good to compare.
For the previous group stages, I would use Ctrl + F for each girls name on each page and get a count from that, then make sure the total number of votes for each group was the same as the total number of voting posts in the thread. Made it so much quicker but sadly can't do that this year!

I once again thank Scotsman and his possible aides for their efforts but it does seem the Freeview voters could tip the balance.
I appreciate the vote can only be carried out in the manner that it is and cannot think of an alternative at present for next year which might assist the channel girls who are not on Freeview to get a larger share of the vote.
Don't get me wrong i,m fully behind the vote but can you see where I am coming from. This is getting like poltical voting someone always says thats unfair.
Sorry Scotsman I,m not meaning to upset the apple cart because I love the competitive edge already showing in the voting.

No competition like this can ever be 100% perfect, there's no absolute definitive way to decide who is the most popular babe etc. but it's just a bit of fun and a good way for everyone to support their favourite girls.

I agree and confirm i am really enjoying noting the votes coming in.
Perhaps we ought to get the bookmakers to give odds, so as to add to the fun.

I have not voted up to now as there is only about five girls i would truly vote for an dont really wanna have to add more names just for the sake of having a list of ten names so my question is can i just vote for the five i like or does it have to be a full ten list ?

Under circumstances where less than 10 are nominated I would expect points to still be allocated for finishing positions specified, all that would happen is that the lower point totals would not be allocated. As I am assisting with the count this is the assumption I am working under

Yeah that's pretty much how it works, if someone doesn't use all of their votes for whatever reason, then the ones they have voted for will be counted.
