maybe it crash landed on a deserted island with a mysterious hatch that has the numbers 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42 inscribed on it.........hang on....this rings a bell.

The plane was seen taking off from Kuala Lumpur airport at 00:41 (16:41 GMT) and verbal communications were normal until it left Malaysian airspace. Radar tracking was normal too until the same point when at 01:21 the plane simply disappeared from secondary radar. This was confirmed by the Vietnamese traffic controllers. The plane had ACARS installed, an automated system which transmits maintenance information to Rolls Royce. On this flight the ACARS system sent 2 engine health reports to Rolls Royce, the last at 01:07. Primary radar sightings of the plane continued until 02:15 when it flew beyond the primary radar range. Although ACARS was no longer sending reports, it still transmitted a “keep-alive” signal (once an hour until 08:11) which was picked up by US satellites.

What about the resemblance between these events and the Tintin story, “Flight 714 for Sydney”? In this book a jet plane flying from Indonesia to Australia vanishes when it is hijacked by the pilots. It remains undetected by flying at a low altitude, to avoid radar, before finally reaching its mysterious destination which is a deserted island.

If the missing plane landed somewhere it must have had the collusion of at least one government.

But which two Governments would have had a hand in it's disappearance? if so which two would have done I would suspect Iran could be one but who else?

I notice that American opinion is getting behind the idea of an Al-Qaeda inspired plot to carry out a 9/11 type terrorist attack with the target, based on the plane's flight path, being somewhere in India.

The taliban are being mentioned as being the ones behind this operation.

If the Taliban were behind the hijack as reported, then it is possible that a 9/11 style attack is either in the pipeline for either India or Pakistan or maybe even Afghanistan just to clear our guys out earlier than planned.

Is it definite that they even had enough fuel to reach Iran? And how could it be possible to reach Iran when it would involve flying across India where the plane would be bound to have been detected? Is there any known or possible way of flying across India without being detected, given that India no doubt has a strong radar capability?

Even if you had a small fast military jet you could not fly across India undetected, let alone in an airliner. Why do you think they bother to build stealth planes if huge airliners could fly somewhere invisibly?

its said on one of the channels if they flew below 3000 ft then wouldnt be detected on military radars

would love to know if its possible to clone another aircrafts transponder data for one thats already in the air
