It wasn't. GB lost 4-2 which is an excellent result against the no 1 ranked team in the world

I'm glad to see that it wasn't a heavy defeat against Canada, and not the goal fest many had probably expected or Predicted - bet they frustrated Canada for good periods
Could even be the the spark for some great performances to come.

Unfortunately GB got a bit of a tonking by Finland losing 8-0. Oh dear
.Mind you Finland are a European powerhouse in Ice Hockey as I understand it so not a huge shock.

Yes Finland are a European powerhouse & are multiple time world champions. Plus GB in
previous recent championships have lost to Finland 6-0 & 5-0.
So wasn't a shock this result today. GB now have a couple of days off before facing Switzerland on Wednesday evening uk time
