Very good end to season 3 I thought which was action packed from start to finish & sets up season 4 which is going to start filming later this year plus of course Ahsoka which is out in August

If there's one thing Lucasfilm does well, it's action set pieces, even though most of it in the finale felt like rehashes of past movies. Even Gideon did a good Vader cosplay lol. The video game like Mando going through levels through the force fields was fun.

A neat wrap up but perhaps a little too neat. Thought it would leave a big thread dangling.

Question, can I start watching the first season even though I'm not overly familiar with star wars lore...it's err something something I am your father right? Wink
But no I've heard nothing but good things about The Mandalorian so wanted to give it a shot however I didn't know if a lot of things would fly over my head or not but any input would be appreciated, cheers.

You'll be fine watching it, knowing more about the wider Star Wars universe helps with the Easter egg stuff, but the show is its own story, they cover everything you need to know, and a lot of the characters they mention or hint at are pretty famous, so even in passing you'll have an idea about them.

So I say go for it, give it a couple of episodes and see how you get on with it. They aren't overly long, so even if you don't enjoy it, not much time is wasted.
Once you get into it, you'll likely be hooked, it feels different to a lot of other things, being a space western of sorts, I highly recommend it.
