Despite all these newcomer sites I think OnlyFans will continue to reign supreme with creators. Surely it's still their best option as moving to a new platform could make it harder to get someone to sign up if they haven't already got an account there. I mean since OnlyFans is so established and well known, it should be easier to get new subscribers there as many potential subscribers are already registered with OnlyFans, because they are already subscribed to someone else or they have been in the past.

AVN Stars, one of the platforms which looked like serious competition for OnlyFans, has now announced its closure and given 'banking discrimination' as the reason.

Always going to be casualties given sheer number of fan platforms set up in the wake of the massive success of OnlyFans. Wouldn't be surprised if more fan platforms close.
In this case its due to religious fundamentalist organisations pressuring the banks

The Glamourfans Twitter page, has been inactive since August, apart from liking a couple of conspiracist tweets about Covid, posted in December, by Matt le Tissier!
Probably a coincidence, but MMR (!) has made no appearance online since August, when she was last on 66.
The Glamourfans Instagram page has nothing since July, and its Facebook has nothing since 2020!
Looking on the site itself, it's still inviting people to join the waiting list...

Thanks for the update on GlamourFans. I think it's going to be one of many fansites that never get off the ground. Despite the meteoric rise of OnlyFans leading to a flurry of similar platforms launching, I suspect very few of these OnlyFans alternatives are going to make any serious impact in the marketplace.

I think an overcrowded or saturated market, or a market captured/monopolised by one company, isn't the only obstacle.
