RE: NFL 2021-2022 Season - Regenerated - 11-02-2022 03:33 Clearly the Rams have a strong defence and were solid in the final stages to hold off the Niners. They're rightfully the favourites. I do like the look of the Bengals offensive line though - I think it could be an interesting test for the Rams defence. They have pedigree after beating the Raiders, Titans and the seemingly indestructible Chiefs in the previous rounds. It could come down to a couple of goal kicks to nick it - elite kicker Evan McPherson has a 16 / 16 perfect record in the playoffs. I fancy a value bet for the underdog to steal it, giving it a go. The half time show is supposed to feature Dr Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dog and Mary J Blige. With that calibre of entertainment plus the possible fairytale story, I'm looking forward to this. RE: NFL 2021-2022 Season - lovebabes56 - 13-02-2022 09:17 I feel the Bengals have to dominate 1st qtr if they are to win otherwise Rams will be lookinng the stronger after 1st qtr though i have to admit there is little chance pof it being a low scoring game. RE: NFL 2021-2022 Season - Rammyrascal - 13-02-2022 22:20 Defence wins championships so I'm going Rams RE: NFL 2021-2022 Season - Boomerangutangangbang - 13-02-2022 22:26 It would cap a great season if tonight goes down to the wire as most of the Playoff games have. Super Bowls are often one-sided. I have seen a few where i've went to bed at halftime or before So fingers crossed I get to see Eminem and Dr Dre RE: NFL 2021-2022 Season - gazcraw77 - 14-02-2022 01:33 Best half-time show ive seen in a long time Old school tunes from back in the day, better than the pish nowadays I may have had plenty refreshments - apologies for the language RE: NFL 2021-2022 Season - Boomerangutangangbang - 14-02-2022 07:29 A Brave effort by the Bengals, went behind early, stayed in the game, took the lead, before a textbook 4th Quarter drive by the Rams with Stafford & Kupp linking up time & again. The Bengals still got the ball back with time on the clock to try to take the game into Overtime, before fittingly Aaron Donald sacked Burrows to end their hopes. Rams 23 -20 Bengals RE: NFL 2021-2022 Season - Regenerated - 14-02-2022 09:28 Damn - so close...! RE: NFL 2021-2022 Season - KerrAvon - 14-02-2022 11:01 An intruiging game right to end. I wanted the Bengals to win but personally was glad to see the injury cursed again OBJ pick up a ring. But no one deserved a ring more than NFL's best player by some distance Aaron Donald. I still don't how he makes those offensive linemen look so inoffensive lol. RE: NFL 2021-2022 Season - Boomerangutangangbang - 14-02-2022 11:38 ^^ Donald getting double-teamed on most plays yet, he still gets to the QB often enough. You have to laugh at the play where he pushes Burrows in the back when he's running out of bounds, which counted as a sack, when on any other day it would be a penalty for roughing the passer. Still it wasn't the only none-call. Generally the officials are some of the best in all sports, but, it looks like the directive is to not overdo the penalty calls in a Super Bowl, in an effort to not spoil the spectacle. They must try harder to show consistency throughout the regular-season & the Play-offs. It would've been criminal if the Bengals ad snatched victory by virtue of a TD when you can clearly see in real-time the head of the DB getting jerked around as the WR grabs his face-guard. |
