RE: Rishi Sunak - and his miserly Government - HannahsPet - 17-11-2022 18:08 Nice 23% Rise in Fuel Duty in late march hidden in one of the reports didnt mention that did they think said its equivilent to 12p a litre RE: Rishi Sunak - and his miserly Government - southsidestu - 02-12-2022 13:00 Sajid Javid becoming the latest Tory MP to announce he will not stand for relection at the next GE. What is quite stark about the MPs that are saying they wont stand is the age of them. Chloe Smith, William Wragg & Dehenna Davison are 40, 34 & 29 respectively. Even Javid who feels like he has been around forever is 52, 8 yrs younger than Starmer. You would expect MPs with a long career ahead of them not to be the ones that are retiring especially someone like Davison who has just been given a junior ministerial post. It says something about how the Tories see their chances at the next election that so many younger MPs are jumping before being pushed. This in turn creates a problem for the Tory party, where will the next gen of leadership & ministers come from if the young ones all quit ? RE: Rishi Sunak - and his miserly Government - The Silent Majority - 02-12-2022 14:04 ^ Don't panic ![]() Boris has confirmed he's standing again... I don't think they ever have been on strike before from what I remember. Bet Boris will don a apron to serve the meals and Keir Starmer the Marigolds to do the washing up ![]() ![]() RE: Rishi Sunak - and his miserly Government - Charlemagne - 08-12-2022 18:03 Speaker Hoyle was so furious with Michael Gove for not providing advance copies of his full Cumbria coal statement that he's suspended the Commons. Saw a video of this, about time this sort of action was taken as its not the 1st time the tories have done this, telling the media first before parliament RE: Rishi Sunak - and his miserly Government - Snooks - 08-12-2022 19:26 Yeah that sort of conduct should have been tackled long ago really. |
