could Uruguay themselves face any repercussions of his actions?

Doubt it. they wouldnt take actions on the country if he had say elbowed or headbutted someone in fact would say biting is a less serious as both of those i know what i would rather have someone do to me bite me or headbutt or elbow me in the face Wink

Be harsh on Liverpool if Suarez is banned from playing for both club and country. I think not being able to play for your country for 2 years is punishment enough, especially since he's a the peak of his career.

From a Liverpool fan point of view, i hope Stevie G has either called or plans on meeting Suarez in Brazil at some point this week. Better yet fly Rodgers and John W Henry out as well and have a sit down with Suarez and get a view on what was going on in his mind at the time

Stevie G has just landed at Luton airport, so I seriously doubt he's going to travel back to Brazil.

Is that even long enough?

RE: World Cup 2014 Brasil - HannahsPet - 25-06-2014 13:04

Yes as its over double what he got last time

I blame the Italians for the whole incident. They clearly wound Suarez up by not allowing him to score and that obviously provoked him into doing what he did.

So are you now saying that FIFA should investigate the Italians as well?
