Last November I bought replacement PS3 but a slim one CEX gave me a 24 month warranty anyway over the weekend it stops reading any form of discs and kept making a eject noise. I took it back they said they would run a warranty test what ever is and ring me back they never did, two days later I go back then it's bullshit excuse that dirt caused the problem if you look online it's a common problem with the laser after many years and said they would ring me back later that day on Tuesday again never did. Went back to today they wouldn't fix it.
Rung up Song explained to them they said it's a common issue with the laser going bad and there story is horseshit and how anything happen while it's just sitting there unless I was poking around it a screwdriver.
What's worse they never took it apart I have photographic proof of before and after where they would have need to peel off the Sony sticker to get to the screw to open it they never did and I peeled half it off once you the sticker changes to void. There a bunch of scumbags.
