Jeremy Hunt says Esther Mcvey would be his Deputy Prime Minister. Surprised Oh well that counts him out as my frontrunner even if it might get him the votes of MP’s.

Penny Mordaunt has formally entered the contest. Out of all of the contenders I would say she is the least worst option for the country first and foremost.

I also suspect she would be the best for her party too but that is of secondary importance imo even if her party are completely of the opposite mindset being the navel gazers they so obviously are bladewave.

So for a few months at least a loyalist get ministerial pay and will be entitled to severance pay when he loses this job -which ought to be 20 seconds after the new Prime Minister is selected.

This is really plumbing the depths

Johnson's been accused of deliberately making unsuitable appointments in order to cause immediate difficulties for his successor who would inevitably have to sack most of them on taking office.

Grant Shapps being asked on Sky News about the anti-trans "culture war"
"Let people live their lives… I just don't think we need to get caught up in some US-style debate and aggressive war on these issues. It's just not necessary."

Trans rights etc is the new hot potato, everyone will be asked, Starmer and Johnson have been asked.
Weird in a way because it use to be along the lines of race/religion, the whole BLM movement, has moved the it along, some of the stuff MP's have said in the past, if they say it now, they would be sacked on the spot but it's moved from race to trans rights.
