RE: Fascinating Facts and Trivia - GMach1 - 02-02-2019 00:36 Girls have won more major competitions on Blue Peter than boys, in fact stuff going right back to the design of a Christmas stamp in late 70's and last year for their Sixtieth birthday another girl won the big prize!! RE: Fascinating Facts and Trivia - kelly1066 - 02-02-2019 08:48 The female clitorus is about 10cm long.... Or a small penis, like his, as Jimmy Carr suggested to Rachel Riley on last nights' Catsdown.... lol. RE: Fascinating Facts and Trivia - Carl-Gen X - 02-02-2019 11:32 In professional shooting, alcohol is considered to be a performance enhancing drug because it relaxes you and slows your heart rate enough to give you an edge. RE: Fascinating Facts and Trivia - Carl-Gen X - 02-02-2019 11:34 In the late 19th century, millions of American children were taught to believe that just one sip of alcohol could lead to blindness, madness or even spontaneous combustion. RE: Fascinating Facts and Trivia - Carl-Gen X - 02-02-2019 12:32 Today is Candlemas Day, which is the last day of the Christmas/Epiphany season. RE: Fascinating Facts and Trivia - GMach1 - 02-02-2019 15:22 Yes that was the day that your decorations and trees were finally removed in olden times. As was stated here sometime back the idea of taking them all down before Epiphany is a modern superstition, but of course you've lost that festive feeling well before that. So that's the excuse for drunken Yanks going out & blowing innocent kids away? RE: Fascinating Facts and Trivia - GMach1 - 02-02-2019 15:59 Whilst navigating a brilliant cartoon website I was surprised to see a Marvel superhero cartoon series that definitely would not be shown on television mainstream or satellite(at least I think so) It was called Stripperella and based on an idea from Stan Lee(he was no fool) and featured Pamela Anderson as a stripper but also a secret agent. The episode I saw was about a villlainess called Queen Clit-or-is and had some terrible gags based on that word such as "we don't want to rub her up the wrong way!" Definitely NOT for kids this one. Pamela of course made some dreadful films including 'Skyscraper' and 'Barb Wire'(itself based on a comic book heroine) If you've ever seen her early Pl*yb*y stuff you'll wonder why she fiddled about with her boobs and had them made bigger. *EDIT!* Sorry Skyscraper was Anna Nicole Smith, Snapdragon was Pamela, and it wasn't that bad.
