Weird in a way because it use to be along the lines of race/religion, the whole BLM movement, has moved the it along, some of the stuff MP's have said in the past, if they say it now, they would be sacked on the spot but it's moved from race to trans rights.

Taken from The Guardian website (source):
The debate is a sign of the growing importance of US-style culture war politics to the Conservative party.

Two candidates, the attorney general, Suella Braverman, and the former equalities minister Kemi Badenoch, have explicitly aimed their campaigns as being opposed to socially liberal language and policies.

Launching her campaign with an article in the Times, Badenoch reiterated her opposition to identity-based politics, saying this led to “coercive control, the imposition of views, the shutting down of debate”.

Penny Mourdant's campaign video plays on her naval reservists background, saying the ship is more important than the captain. After the presidential style leadership of BJ this must be a good thing.
Jeremy Hunt drops to the bottom of the pile for me, anyone eho thinks Esther McVey should be deputy PM isn't fit to run a bath let along a country.

Seems to be a lot of American Christian Right poking its nose into our politics sure there are a few with links to americans

the whole BLM is marxist thing has been a trope used since it started by the right wing

luckly i think that most of the UK public just find it a load of nonsense on both sides but have to be careful or it might change

when it comes to trans there needs to be debate on things like trans in womens sports and the age someone can transition but even me saying me there should be a debate means some would call me transphobic which is absurd

Yep, this America Christian right started their agenda by launching the latest global war on porn & then going after all women's rights as well as anti LGBTQ+ rights and are now going after politicians in uk. They basically want to take things back to the dark ages

Liz Truss - how many of us see her as a outsider to win or a possible favourite to strongly challenge Rishi & Jeremy Hunt & would a new woman Leader revitalise the Conservatives after Johnson?
