Former mob boss/FBI informant Whitey Bulger (once the most wanted man in the US not named Osama) was killed a few months ago in a West Virginia prison. He was captured in 2011 in Santa Monica, CA after nearly 2 decades on the run. His funeral took place at a Boston church called Saint Monica's. Thought that was kinda neat. Maybe not as neat as LBJ's genitalia, but still OK.

Mel Blanc was the most prolific cartoon voice of all time voicing everyone from Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Sylvester and Speedy Gonzales BUT there was one he couldn't do-Elmer Fudd and that was by Arthur Q Bryan. Hhuhuhuhuhuhuh!
Blanc made his name as the sound of a car in Jack Benny's show on radio. He also hated carrots and spat them out after any take that involved eating them as Bugs Bunny.

On his last day as a welder, Tony Iommi, guitarist of Black Sabbath, lost the tips of his two fretting fingers. While he was recovering he found it easier to play the guitar by dropping the tuning and using lighter gauge strings, which helped give Black Sabbath it's signature dark sound.

In 1977 before the band became big, The Police agreed to appear in a Wrigley’s commercial directed by Ridley Scott. Wrigley’s demanded that the band members dye their hair blond to play a non descript punk band.
The look became the band’s trademark even though the commercial never aired.

Anthony Jackson who played Fred Mumford in RENTAGHOST was the voice of Dai Station in animated kids series, 'Ivor the Engine' and Michael Staniforth who played the mischevious jester, Timothy Claypole in the series, went into the West End later to star in musical about trains 'Starlight Express' Oh yes and the man that played the nosy neighbour(Hal Dyer) the husband Jeffery Segal was a member of our synagogue!
