I would agree that at SOME point, there has to be a public inquiry into the handling of this pandemic so lessons have to be learned for any future pandemics.

It's not just about learning lessons for future pandemics, after all, these things happen pretty rarely.
It's really about holding the people that made the decisions accountable for those decisions, and holding them accountable for the lives that have been lost.

^I agree those that were making the decisions have to be made accountable, but those that WERE in charge in of that decision making from the start (Cummings, Johnson, Raab, Hancock & probably several more) are more than likely to push hard as possible for that inquiry to never happen because as far as they are concerned they are bloody terrified of what will happen IF the public actually KNEW what they REALLY KNEW. And seeing as this thing is likely to be around for quite a few years (as we have been told), it is better that this inquiry does take place as quickly as possible have everything out in the open, and we are better prepared for any future pandemic.

looks like we have imported COVID 19 back to New Zealand 2 cases which came from the UK cant make it up

^What you couldn't make up is that they were put into compulsory quarantine on arrival in NZ (sound familiar?) and allowed out early to visit a sick relative.

Even the Kiwis are saying they don't know if the women were infected in the UK or en route to New Zealand.

A study has found that flushing a toilet can send a plume of aerosol droplets nearly three feet in the air and potentially spread coronavirus to the next occupant. However they say that there is little evidence that it has spread the virus.

So when you go to the bog, shut the lid before you flush. Big Grin
