RE: Formula 1 - hornball - 06-12-2020 19:10 I haven't watched F1 (certainly not flag to flag) in a number of years to be honest, but - and notwithstanding the fact that Hamilton took out the championship again - no knighthood warranted all the same) - this season has been compelling with upside down results and winner names, together with interesting races overall (about time) Is there a lesson to be learned here - and for all sports - that being too formulaic about the organization and venue selection, is harming the sport. Should finance and the highest bidder process be replaced with consideration being given to where is likely to provide the best racing spectacle - whether it is well known/iconic tracks or not - and go there more often than not?? MotoGP found the same when they went to Portomao where the race was one of the best ever! RE: Formula 1 - Charlemagne - 18-12-2020 10:56 Toto Wolff to has had his contract as Mercedes team principal and CEO extended for a further three years Not a surprise. RE: Formula 1 - Charlemagne - 12-01-2021 12:17 Next years session starts off on 28th March at Bahrain. Melbourne will move to the end of the year on 21st November. RE: Formula 1 - Snooks - 11-02-2021 06:23 Good to see that the Portugal race is on the schedule with appropriate safeguards in place. Portimao proved to be quite a circuit last season . RE: Formula 1 - Rammyrascal - 12-03-2021 15:18 F1 2021 season is underway!!!!!!!! Day 1 of testing is currently underway in Bahrain RE: Formula 1 - Charlemagne - 27-03-2021 19:39 Hamilton is on the front row, but Verstafppen got on pole. for the Bahrain GP. RE: Formula 1 - Rammyrascal - 28-03-2021 17:52 Lewis Hamilton wins the Bahrain Gp holding off Max Verstappen in a gripping finish RE: Formula 1 - Snooks - 28-03-2021 19:03 He did well to hold Verstappen off in the end in spite of the steward instruction for the Dutchman to give position back after a previous overtake. RE: Formula 1 - Charlemagne - 28-03-2021 19:46 Vettel doing his usual blaming another driver when he causes a collision.
