RE: Dr Who - Rammyrascal - 22-04-2016 15:50 seems to be between Rakee Thakhar and Georgina Campbell for the new companion. I wouldn't rule out Ingrid Oliver (Osgood) or David Tennant's wife Georgina Moffat (who played Jenny in The Doctor's Daughter) RE: Dr Who - Rammyrascal - 23-04-2016 17:21 NEW COMPANION REVEALED!!! 1st impressions are pretty good for me RE: Dr Who - ShandyHand - 23-04-2016 18:22 Teaser: https://youtu.be/qNfXMri_nCk Trailer: https://youtu.be/xbMmsShghT4 RE: Dr Who - Doddle - 23-04-2016 18:29 A good result for the bookmakers presumably. RE: Dr Who - lancealot790 - 23-04-2016 18:40 Oh Dear... RE: Dr Who - ShandyHand - 23-04-2016 23:35 Is Moffat looking to end his stint on NuWho as the Graham Williams of the modern era! ... Way to signal a pull down of Capaldi. To me, that trailer looks like what it is - an attempt to get a faltering audience back on board... You'd hope he's not going to try and hold that tone and characterisations for whole episodes. It's as if he's constantly thinking 'must write for the kids, must write for the kids' but I always thought youngsters were into Who for the adventure, the wonder and the scares not for daft comedy - I know I was all those years ago... Maybe it's that daft comedy is just cheaper to make? RE: Dr Who - bigguy01 - 25-04-2016 22:54 the comedy should come from the companion has they are the ones that don't know what is out there and seeing things for the first time. the description of the character is strong yet vulnerable why cant they just give the doctor a companion who gives just has they get, tate has donna was excellent, coleman has clara was also excellent and piper was great.
