If there are occurences of racism, and we hope to god that there aren't, the referee must be be strong and make the decision to stop, not the players.

I might have a punt on Van Persie. For an outside shot Torres might be worth a go too, he seems to be coming good just lately.

Back in 1996 Scotland ofcourse were there, they had to qualify with the finals being held in England that year and ofcourse were pitted in the same group as England where Uri Geller famously worked his magic and cursed us when Gary Mcallister missed from the penalty spot via his helicopter above Wembley Stadium because the ball moved off the spot just as he kicked it to surely equalise for us, not to be unfortunately.
This was also the year I turned 18 so I could legally go down to the pub, drink and watch the game from my local at the time. One of my abiding memories from that tournament was the ITV theme music, it just captured the spirit of the event terrifically.
