hamilton is replacing michael schumacher mercedes have confirmed

Why would you want to move to a team with less chance of winningHuh

Lewis is going to look stupid if Perez wins the title next session..

RE: Formula 1 - jozefbloggz - 28-09-2012 18:38

i think this is the wrong move for lewis, there is a more chance of being in a championship winning car with mclaren than with mercedes, although its looks like mercedes are going to make him outright number one driver and build the team around him,bit of a kick in the nuts for nico, all the same i wish him well , but ill still be staying a mclaren fan,go jenson,go sergioBig GrinBig GrinBig Grin

RE: Formula 1 - Rammyrascal - 28-09-2012 20:49

think long term it could be a good move for lewis to join mercedes because in 2014 there is a massive change in the rules in F1, especially in the engines which will change from the current V8's to turbocharged V6's and feels its best to be at a team that makes its own engines. rather than at mclaren who are a customer team for mercedes. also mercedes have already started work on their 2013 car to.

also can benefit lewis off track being associated with a world famous brand mercedes rather than a lesser known brand in comparison mclaren

RE: Formula 1 - bigguy01 - 29-09-2012 00:38

also mercedes have allowed hamilton to have personal endorsements/sponsors which mclaren did not allow him to have. brawn has the history of making a quality car with the right drivers in them for example schumacher at benetton and then at ferrari where brawn was at both. i think hamilton was becoming abit stale at mcleren and needs a fresh start with another team. i think mercedes are about a year or 2 away from having a car that can challenge for both drivers and constructors titles.

there is the possiblity of another us race this time in new jersey, i hope they mow down the jersey shore cast.

i would like to see more f1 races at night, the cars look great under lights.

japan, south korea, india, abu dabhi, us, brazil are the remaing races for this season.

1 Fernando Alonso 194
2 Sebastian Vettel 165
3 Kimi Raikkonen 149
4 Lewis Hamilton 142
5 Mark Webber 132
6 Jenson Button 119

this is going to be close. alonso should win it if ferrari dont suffer any break downs.

RE: Formula 1 - stato - 29-09-2012 11:26

must say i was suprised at Hamilton moving to Mercedes i would have thought if it's titles he wants to win Mclaren would have been a better option i cant see Mercedes getting near the front.

RE: Formula 1 - Rammyrascal - 04-10-2012 10:48

michael schumacher has retired from f1 from the end of the season

RE: Formula 1 - Charlemagne - 04-10-2012 13:25

I think that he may have had a clue to retire when Mercedes signed Lewis Hamilton for next season....

In reality Schumacher's retirement has been known for some time. Bernie Ecclestone accidentally announced it a month ago.

things have just got very interesting in the championship
