Yes. English cricket needs a fillip after the disastrous winter (the men's team) and the ladies are fairing significantly better. Good luck to them in the Final. Smile

Disappointingly the ladies were well beaten by the Aussies today. Making just 105 and found keeping to a decent run rate difficult due to frequent loss of wicket.
It appears to be raining quite heavily so assume the mens game may have a delayed start.

England Women made only 24 runs in the Power Plays, against 43 made by Australia.

Yes 40 minutes delay - the match will now start at 14:40 our time with no reduction in overs.

EDIT: Sri Lanka have won the toss and they will bowl.

India finish on 130/4 and that is way way below par. Excellent bowling at the death by the Sri Lankan bowlers.

How amazing that India only managed to score 19 runs in the last 4 overs when they had plenty of wickets in hand.

Another interesting stat is that none of the 5 Sri Lanka bowlers conceded more than 29 runs in his 4 overs.

And it wasn't just Malinga who caused India problems... It was the whole team. Good bowling and excellent fielding.

There has only been one guy who has dominated Sri Lanka... England's Alex Hales

Sri Lanka have reached their target with 13 balls to spare. A comprehensive margin for a T20 match.

Indias last four overs cost them the game.

It was good for Kumar Sangakkara & Mahela Jayawardene to finish their T20 careers with a win.

They had lost their last four finals.
