Yes she is but needs to do more. I am very hopeful for her, thats not in dispute at all plus she's a lovely Liverpool lass - but it's a World Championships and Thiam plus others will be in tip top shape and so I hope will KJT, plus she must hold her nerves in check because in the past that has led to self-doubt. I assure you I will be cheering her on for the Gold this year.

Did you know 110m Hurdler Andrew Pozzi is her boyfriend.

RE: Athletics - Snooks - 27-05-2019 01:06

Yeah. He is a lucky so and so laugh

RE: Athletics - GMach1 - 27-05-2019 01:09

Maybe that will help him get over hurdles better this year-she is a lovely girl, and could be a poster one like Ennis-Hill was.

Hopefully they can help and inspire each other Smile

RE: Athletics - GMach1 - 27-05-2019 01:13

Let's hope so. I wish them BOTH the best of luck this year.

My mistake the Stockholm Diamond League meeting is tomorrow evening from 9pm(not Friday) on Eurosport 2 - channel 865(Sky)

Dina does it again 22.18s a world leading time and she beat a very good field including Elaine Thompson and Dafne Shippers.

RE: Athletics - Snooks - 30-05-2019 23:23

Yeah she is in scintillating form.
Praying she stays injury free this year to help her achieve her goals.

RE: Athletics - GMach1 - 30-05-2019 23:37

Quite a good meeting tonight although it was clearly cold there and it wasn't live. Very unusual to be so late a start too. HAd some good performances David Stahl unlucky in the Discus nearly got a world lead had he not jumped out the circle, Elish McColgan did well even though she must have had the burglary on her mind(had her medals stolen and an Olympics necklace-partner is Michael Rimmer the 800m man) and of course Dina blasted away the opposition in the 200m. Swedes had a win in the long jump Thobias Mahler - last time they had a decent jumper was Christian Olssen in the triple jump. Next Thursday is the next Diamond League meeting 7pm Eurosport 2 from ROME.
