100 for Buttler off 73 balls. Back to back one day hundreds
Current score 316-4 off 42 overs

England finish on 399/9. Last man Topley had 2 balls at the end to make the 400, but couldn't connect with either of them. Still it was a swashbuckling effort by England to reach 399, their second highest ever total in ODIs.

Match abandoned due to rain.

South Africa had made 250-5 in 33.3 overs.

England won by 39 runs on Duckworth Lewis.

The 2nd ODI has just started. South Africa won the toss and have opted to bat first.
Current score 4-0 off 1 over.

I have a childish smirk when the commentator says "Willey to De Kock"

RE: South Africa vs England 2015/16 - Charlemagne - 06-02-2016 11:38

South Africa made 262-7 in their 50 overs

RE: South Africa vs England 2015/16 - William H Bonney - 06-02-2016 11:47

Wasn't that a strange review? Rilee Rossouw was given not out, but the decision was then overturned despite the evidence being inconclusive.

England will be happy with how the last 10 overs went, with South Africa only adding 64 from them, when they looked set for a bigger total.

RE: South Africa vs England 2015/16 - Mellow - 06-02-2016 15:43

England 263-5 in 46.2 overs win by 5 wickets.

Good batting by England. I think South Africa bowled OK, but their own total was a bit short of what they really needed.

Impressed by how Hales batted.
Unfortunate to get out for 99 but played the conditions well.
It was not a pitch conducive to relentless big hitting all the way through and Hales reined himself in and played responsibly to break the back of the total set for Buttler and Ali to finish things off with a flourish.
