Politics would be so much easier without these troublesome voters causing all the bother and voting for the wrong things and the wrong people, and then blaming the politicians .

It was a posh outfit day for the ladies.
May & Leadson both wore their expensive designer outfits.
But the big surprise was Labour challenger Angela Eagle. Someone's been grooming her. She got a smart new hairstyle and eligant dress. Corburn's now looking like a casual school teacher.

Wouldn't surprise me if Teresa May gets an offer to do a pornshoot playing the new pm. Something similar did happen in the us

as snookered would say - no cigar, it's Yes Prime Minister and the one where his advisors want to get rid of troublemaking local councillors by voting reforms for local government, without stopping to think this will inevitably lead to similar voting reforms for Parliament and selection of MPs and of course also affect the Civil Service. Is it a fall to earth? She came a worthy second in the leadership ballot and greatly increased her public profile, plus by withdrawing gets credit for sparing the Conservative party a 9 week election campaign. Surely she's a winner in all this?
