RE: World Cup 2018 - Regenerated - 23-06-2018 20:23 Quite right, Skully. Kroos has been for so long a talisman of the Germany team. He's there tonight when they need him with one of the best free kicks I've ever seen. There's been quite a few great goals to choose from already during this World Cup to be fair and there's another one. There's obviously still faults they need to iron out. The center backs, Boateng and Rudiger were hopeless at times. There's still problems there with the shape and the apparent discontent in and around the squad and the training camp. However this may go a long way to galvanising them and they'll probably have the lift they need to get their campaign going. You can never write off the Germans. Still work for them to do, but for me their ability to snatch a result out of the fire still makes them good enough for at least a run to the semi-finals. RE: World Cup 2018 - milfspotter - 23-06-2018 21:03 That's it then. Germany back from the brink. I can see them going all the way now. Korea looked a different team today and were perhaps unlucky not to get something out of the Mexico game. But I still expect the Germans to steamroller them next week. RE: World Cup 2018 - davetherave57 - 23-06-2018 21:23 Phew......looks like my works sweepstake team (Argentina) may sneak into the knockout round..... Fingers Crossed. RE: World Cup 2018 - babefan2012 - 23-06-2018 21:27 Not watched too much if I’m honest but what I have seen hasn’t been that exciting. Too many defensive teams or to much possession based football with not real speed. So far I reckon there’s no real favourite, pretty much anyone of the top nations could win it. RE: World Cup 2018 - mikedafc - 24-06-2018 00:13 Another example of poor game management by Sweden their player should have taken ball to the corner, instead he takes a shot straight into Neuers hands allowing him to clear upfield which leads to free kick and Germany‘s winning goal RE: World Cup 2018 - davetherave57 - 24-06-2018 09:50 (24-06-2018 00:13 )mikedafc Wrote: Another example of poor game management by Sweden their player should have taken ball to the corner, instead he takes a shot straight into Neuers hands allowing him to clear upfield which leads to free kick and Germany‘s winning goal Hindsight/Is/A/Wonderful/Thing RE: World Cup 2018 - HannahsPet - 24-06-2018 12:59 Whats this ENG 5- 0 up at half Time RE: World Cup 2018 - papahet3969 - 24-06-2018 13:20 Seems so unfair when Panama get to go to the WC and Chile etc are sat at home RE: World Cup 2018 - mikedafc - 24-06-2018 14:21 Not hindsight just common sense (24-06-2018 09:50 )davetherave57 Wrote:(24-06-2018 00:13 )mikedafc Wrote: Another example of poor game management by Sweden their player should have taken ball to the corner, instead he takes a shot straight into Neuers hands allowing him to clear upfield which leads to free kick and Germany‘s winning goal |
