Utterly astonishing fightbacks from Alex Yee and the Quadruple Scullers.
Both looked gone and out of it.
Then BEAST mode took over and BOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM.

Three medals rescued in one day. In the diving they looked like they could end up in 4th or 5th place and managed to pull a bronze medal position in the last round.
In the Triathlon Yee looked well beaten by the New Zealander before coming back strongly as the Zealander ran out off samina. And Yee ended up winning.
And in the Woman's Quadriple Skulls the Netherland's lead from start to finish only to be pipped at the post by a quick finish GB team.

Glad that both Triathlons went on, after the worries before (no-one seemed to give as much of a toss about the women, but it's done now). Two perhaps surprise Golds for GB, but welcome all the same.

That BMX final was something, the mistakes taking people out, then the comeback for France to get bronze, us getting silver for 2 solid runs, great to watch.

Poor Mallory Franklin had a bit of a shocker in the women's singles canoe final unfortunately.
Meanwhile it's the mens all round individual gymnastics final too. Medals likely to be unbelievably difficult to come by.
