The court ruling was that she was blameless on the first missed test and innocent of any wrongdoing, not that it wasn't entirely her fault.

And yet she didn't officially appeal it until threatened with a ban. She then went on to miss two more tests which she doesn't dispute, fully knowing the repercussions. Perhaps I've picked the wrong forum on which to criticise an attractive girl, my bad

She actually only missed one more test. The 2nd incident was actually a filing error which she does not dispute.

“UKAD did not try to test me, instead this was an administrative spot check. They found an inconsistency between an overnight accommodation and a morning time slot,”

What she looks like has nothing to do with this and to infer so is just a cheap shot

Andy Murray will be flag bearer for opening ceremony

RE: Olympics - lovebabes56 - 04-08-2016 07:34

It's weird that the opening ceremony isn't until Friday yet the Olympics have already started with the foot, which I guess is normal. Andy Murray flag bearer eh? The miserable bugger might probably drop it!! I wonder of Nicola Adams would have been a more popular choice. In terms of our medal haul I reckon we will probably have to stake golds on solely being Andy Murray, & Mo Farah & Jess.
I can't see Greg winning gold. In cycling we should pick up a few but overall I think our haul will be just less than half of what it was four years ago.

Is Brazil & Rio higher at altitude than Mexico or is Mexico higher?

RE: Olympics - terence - 04-08-2016 10:43

^i'm fairly sure christ the redeemer is quite high up!

i'm sitting here lolling my head off at the randomness of that question! Smile

Thee reason I asked Terence mate was that I know Mexico is at altitude and if Rio itself is at sea level or not I didn't know if our athletes would have undertaken any altitude training as part of their preparations

Call me overly logical but as Rio has a beach and an ocean lapping up against it would that not indicate it's at sea level?

^yeah, people forget rio actually has a beach. what's it called, copa-something? Big Grin
