That'll be a trip to CAS then.Jesus, with all the real world is dealing with, let it go!! Hamilton still walks away with seven, and room for more, and a few more millions in the bank. (don't begrudge him that btw). What's your problem? There's nothing for me to let go, I'm simply suggesting that's what Mercedes will do next. RE: Formula 1 - Snooks - 12-12-2021 19:53 A rather unsavoury and unsatisfactory end to the season all told. RE: Formula 1 - Rammyrascal - 12-12-2021 23:26 Didn't see the race live as I was out seeing family in Liverpool. Seen it since & I can see why Mercedes kicked off like they did & were right to do so after the call to allow lapped cars to pass the safety car as the safety car was called in RE: Formula 1 - Roger Patterson - 16-12-2021 12:24 (12-12-2021 19:49 )Tumble_Drier Wrote: Meanwhile, Mercedes have lodged an appeal. That isn't correct. They only issued a notice of intent to appeal, in order to buy themselves some time. No actual appeal was ever lodged and now we know it won't be. Mercedes have said there will be no further appeal and they have issued a statement congratulating Max Verstappen and Red Bull Racing.
