My thoughs are with World Cup winner Norman Hunter who is in hospital with coronavirus.
He was in the famous Leeds team of the 70's. And if anyone can beat this then it's Norman 'bites you' leg Hunter.

Ok here is a tricky one that will either give you a headache or drive you crazy
Pick a team of the best players in your lifetime, you cannot have a more than 1 player who has played for the same club or country at any time
Good Luck

Quite a difficult challenge, but think I ended up with a decent team. Don't think any of these played for the same teams.

FC Utrecht gave their response to the news thst Eredivisie had been cancelled with no promotion or relegation. Utrecht were in sixth place with a game in hand have been denied a European spot which was awarded to Willem II and also Eindhoven FC and they were denied also another European spot with the cup final against Feyenoord not being played.

Elsewhere, Ajax star Hakim Hiyech has slammed the decision not to award the title to Ajax as 'bullshit', and I sense the next few weeks will see the KNVB likely come under pressure of facing possible legal challenges from clubs throughout their league to force them to look again at their decision, and I expect this will be the likely and possible scenario that the PL will be keen & do well to avoid.

dont know why Ajax player is moaning they were on the same points as AZ in 2nd place it wasnt like here with Liverpool so far in front
doubt any legal challenge will be shortly thrown out because its the govt who are saying no football till sept at least

Plans to get the Premier League back on in June.

The 45 games not currently scheduled to air on sky/bt should be (for a reasonable fee) evenly allocated between sky, bt, bbc and amazon with all the tv money from those games going to the lower leagues. Assuming the season actually gets to return.
RE: Football Banter - lovebabes56 - 26-04-2020 05:05
I thought some of the games were going to be free to air? It would be good if the TV money from those games was to filter down to the lower divisions and even so not only that I wonder if there would be an option on the purchase screen that would allow us to also agree to that happening so we would know it was going to the lower divisions and not in the fat back pockets of the TV people and FA/PL and PL clubs. I know there were noises in Govt that they were keen to see some kind of sport returning, but I think It would be great for all concerned if the match started before June, because then completion before end of June/July would be possible, but one thing that would have to be worked before anything id how these games are going to be played, whether they are played behind closed doors and what medical arrangements are made.
