Yes but big difference is that Melinda never tried to 'cover up' her past. Doesn't deny it happened or anything. Embraces the fact that that's what got her there.

why does anyone actually care if she's trying to cover it up? who gives a fuck. it's her prerogative. she wants to move on and leave this behind i say fair play to her.
