^ The way I see that response is, it's from one nut to another...

And you know what the frightening thing is about where we are in fighting an unseen enemy? if you put it it down once it comes back stronger and deadlier than ever. There will come a a point that if & when a second wave or even a third wave does hit it will probably hit in such a way where any momentum gained first time round in controlling it is lost and rather than US controlling it, it controls US in almost every aspect of our lives. We know now how much havoc it can wreak with our lives and we are still learning much about it but in the back of our minds we know that somewhere in time, many years down the line it will eventually mutate into a disease that no amount of antibiotic or vaccine will work on it and will become drug resistant. Only then do I fear the battle is finally lost. There is every possibility that one day our leaders will have to admit defeat. So we have to ensure that whatever vaccine works now that can slow spread this winter we have to keep working hard to develop for each new strain of this thing.

Up to yesterday 45,000 + UK deaths were recorded which means I think that we could possibility hit 50,000 before start of August. and with the situation in Spain I would say there is every possibility cases will rise again here if those in Spain returning from holiday or are visiting from Spain do not follow quarantine rules.

Government line on the Obesity guidelines being likely announced today is that it is our "civic duty to lose weight" and are encouraging that to help us do so we may be offered cycling as part of our exercise. F**K i can't use a bike!! I would think if they paid my insurance for cycling for me for a year I might think about but I'm happy to be walking to be walking to work.

Not a problem.
When the babes come back having holidayed in Spain or wherever they can do their shows from home.
The quality of internet picture is noticably better these days since it's under less stress.
Or alternatively they can enjoy a holiday here.

e - bikes (& e - scooters) are expensive and as far as I'm concerned not everybody will afford one and then when they do get one, will they use it a couple of times before being bored of it?
Then, there is maintenance costs to consider (tyres aren't cheap sometimes for normal bike) and when you live in a flat there is the storage problem and then the cost of keeping it fully charged assuming it can't be charged in a normal household plug facility.
Yet another one of Boris Johnson's make - it - up - as - we - go - along Government's policies that is destined to be great for a period of time, but unlikely to last long.

Will they reduce to 10 days?

I haven't heard e-bikes mentioned.

I thought the idea of getting people fit was that you had to pedal it.
