No, really, he did.The BBC only showed the Foo Fighters gig in their Reading coverage last week, but it did include another appearance from Yer Man Rick Astley: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5RV4fah7MCM Not for the first time on this either. I don't envisage Dave making a guest turn in one of Rick's gigs going "hey, kids, this is This Is A Call!" RE: Heavy Rock - Metal Discussion Zone - lovebabes56 - 14-09-2019 05:52 Do we actually know where KISS will play their last ever show? I have a feeling it will be in New York but I can't remember where they have said it is likely take place? I know it will be an awesome show to witness as we will never see them on thr road again. I think to be fair with KISS they are probably the rock band yardstick that every rock band tries to reach but few have reached their status. Their approach to everything has been testament why they have lasted so long, keeping it simple but making the experience better than the last time they visited. I saw them in 1988 at Wembley Arena and I am sure it was just before Eric Carr passed away and they were brilliant, Back then they didn't have the make up and I think the "Crazy Nights' album had just come out. RE: Heavy Rock - Metal Discussion Zone - Doddle - 20-11-2019 08:01 Motley Crue are reforming next year! After they split up forever 5 years ago! Well, quite. RE: Heavy Rock - Metal Discussion Zone - Skyline - 02-12-2019 14:58 According to reports and a poll by Music Radar, Slipknot's Jay Weinberg has been named the World's Best Heavy Metal Drummer. Weinberg joined the metal legends back in 2014 after replacing Joey Jordison (who imo is probably my choice for the best drummer in the world but as he's not been active for a while then Weinberg is a fantastic choice) - Other names included were Paul Bostaph of Slayer, Ray Luzier of Korn, who took out the 2nd and 3rd spots respectively. |
