I believe Uruguay qualified the other night too, with a 1-0 win over Peru.

Unlucky on Peru who had a shout for a late equalising goal ruled out despite the Uruguay keeper looking like he'd carried it over the line.

Senegal are in after beating Egypt on penalties. Salah missed a penalty Surprised

Ghana, Portugal and Poland have all won their matches in the last few hours aswell -

Ghana beat Nigeria on away goals after two draws, Portugal overcame plucky North Macedonia with two goals from Bruno Fernandes and Poland were too good for Sweden in a powerful second half display.

Only 8 places left. Smile

At least if Portugal make it, it'll likely be the last time we'll see that smarmy git Ronaldo in a major tournament me thinks. GOAT or not he is still GOAT time cunt who can oiut cunt Boris Johnson in my book. I can never fogive him still for what he did to Rooney in 2006

That was the opening match of the 2002 World Cup.

Senegal beat the then defending champions France 1-0. They finished bottom of the group without a win or a goal, while Senegal made the quarter-finals, eventually narrowly losing to Turkey.

Peru can still qualify if they beat the AFC Fourth Round Winner United Arab Emirates or Australia in the Play Offs.
