RE: Baseball - Robot Devil - 09-04-2015 12:14 Gonzo has certainly started the season on fire. All you need now is Puig & co. to cath up. Mets/Nationals should be an absolute cracker today- two of the best young pitchers in Baseball facing off: Matt Harvey (Mets) vs. Stephen Strasburg (Was.). I'm out with the darts team tonight so I'm gonna miss the early evening games, but I should be back in time to watch San Francisco vs. San Diego. RE: Baseball - mikedafc - 12-04-2015 23:43 Just as well we(Dodgers) had a 7 run cushion going in 9th innings as our relief pitching gave up 4 runs in 9th RE: Baseball - Robot Devil - 13-04-2015 13:35 With Atlanta losing yesterday, there are only two unbeaten teams left- the Kansas City Royals and the Detroit Tigers ( ) - both from the American League Central division. Some good matches today- Washington @ Boston, Cincinnati @ Cubs, & Seattle @ the Dodgers, the pick of 'em. RE: Baseball - BaddaBing - 13-04-2015 16:17 Great come back by the Cubs yesterday, flicking between that and the golf was a great nights sporting entertainment and possibly the most relaxing and chilled way to spend a Sunday evening lol RE: Baseball - mikedafc - 03-05-2015 20:58 Its C Anderson v B Anderson as Dodgers take on Diamondbacks, either way an Anderson will win RE: Baseball - Robot Devil - 03-05-2015 21:06 ^ Unless one of the relievers get the win RE: Baseball - mikedafc - 04-05-2015 15:53 Turns out game went to 13 innings before we got walk off homer to win 1-0 RE: Baseball - mikedafc - 01-06-2015 22:58 Glad Dodgers finally ended their 42 innings(team record) in 6th inning of St Louis Cardinals game on Saturday which we went on to win RE: Baseball - BaddaBing - 02-06-2015 18:22 Does anyone know of a decent book that explains the MLB's vast array of stats for the layman? I know the basics and even some of the basic team tactics but I am still (after all this time) baffled by some of the stats. Someone suggested trying a "....For Dummies" book but I've been told that even those still expect you to fully understand large chunks of the game. Any suggestions welcome....
