RE: Transfers in summer window 2014 - Fernandez Esperenda - 27-06-2014 19:44 If he is your number 1 leftback for 10 years or so then I guess it's money well spent, I totally do not see why we are paying 30m for Lallana though, stinks of another Downing to me, thought we would have learned by now RE: Transfers in summer window 2014 - cwpussylover - 27-06-2014 19:50 (27-06-2014 06:33 )Fernandez Esperenda Wrote:(26-06-2014 19:36 )William H Bonney Wrote: Athletic Bilboa rejected all their offers, until Man Utd had no choice but to pay the full amount required to meet the player's buyout clause. You thought a typo was worth a post. Who are you then, the spelling police? RE: Transfers in summer window 2014 - Fernandez Esperenda - 27-06-2014 22:09 It's not like William has has ever corrected anybody on here before... Besides who do you think you are to tell me what I can and can't do? RE: Transfers in summer window 2014 - Joey 27 - 27-06-2014 23:28 robben would be a great signing for any prem clubs but as he is 30 nobody will pay much money for him, he could still be good for 2 more years though, clubs need to think about the present as well not just the long term future, £30m is way too much to spend on a player shaw's age, youth is overrated but that is the way the game is RE: Transfers in summer window 2014 - trebilcock - 27-06-2014 23:47 It doesn't seem to be mentioned here, but there are reports that Atletico Madrid have accepted a £25m bid from Man Utd for their centre back Miranda. As far as I know thats not been confirmed but he would be a good target. My understanding was that we are going for Feyenoord's Janmaat who has been very impressive for the Netherlands this world cup. As ever I only believe it when United confirm anything officially. Today alone the press are reporting that we are after Robben, Arturo Vidal (along with Arsenal), Raphael Varane and want to re-sign Paul Pogba. However, we apparently face a blow in buying Mateo Kovacic from Inter as they do not want to sell.
