What a party! Apparently 250,000 people turned out for the victory parade. Just another amazing moment in an amazing season.

An amazing achievement and an amazing day for some amazing and loyal fans. However how many of the 250,000 who were present at the celebrations knew who was in the team this time last year?

It's a fair question. because some of those standing near me struck me as people who had no major interest in football, but had found themselves swept along by the excitement of what's happened this season. I would say some were just there because they wanted to be part of it all.

Put it this way, the population of the city is only 330,000 and the whole county of Leicestershire is still only 980,000. So there's just no way there could be 250,000 long term City fans to turn out last night. There must have been many who just couldn't resist being at such an occasion.

I agree. I suppose they want to be part of an incredible occassion. Been an interesting last few years for the City of Leicester . Find Richard the third's body underneath a car park and now this.

Good BBC documentary on Leicester's title win presented by Gary Lineker last night.

When Lineker said he'd present MOTD in his undies if Leicester went on to win the title he felt there was actually zero chance that it would happen. He first said it on 14 December and felt it was just an empty promise.
