RE: The Masters - Snooks - 11-04-2024 20:54 Upstaging dad! Watson's daughter sinks putt from distance - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/golf/68787781 Impressive stuff RE: The Masters - Boomerangutangangbang - 12-04-2024 07:00 Day 1 Leaderboard De Chambeau -7 Scheffler -6 N Hojgaard -5 Willet -4 Homa -4 Selected Hatton -3 Aberg -2 Fleetwood -2 M Fitzpatrick -1 McIlroy -1 Hovland -1 T Wood -1 (13) Garcia E Lowry E (16) Koepka E (11) Rahm +1 Mickelson +1 Rose +1 B Watson +1 (15) D Johnson +1 (10) RE: The Masters - lovebabes56 - 12-04-2024 08:14 I would say the cut could be around -2 or -3 over and Mcilroy has work to do RE: The Masters - Doddle - 13-04-2024 12:42 Woods made it to the weekend. About the McIlroy level of chances of winning, though. RE: The Masters - Boomerangutangangbang - 13-04-2024 18:22 Some big names to miss the cut including some past Champions - Garcia, Thomas, Spieth, D Johnson, B Watson Z Johnson, Hovland. RE: The Masters - ukusagolf - 13-04-2024 19:10 Collin Morikawa surging up the leaderboard early on Moving Day RE: The Masters - Doddle - 14-04-2024 12:20 Seems a fairly close leaderboard, certainly scope for a surging win. Or a procession for Scheffler. Though Morikawa seems to have managed consistent scoring, rather than 1 good round and the rest bad. For all the big names gone, I see Mickelson, Koepka and even Ollie Olazabal all made it through RE: The Masters - Geriisgreat - 14-04-2024 20:39 Getting really tasty heading into the final 9 can't make my mind up who I want to win Despite raging in a way not putting money on morikawa wednesday night RE: The Masters - Boomerangutangangbang - 14-04-2024 20:53 I didn't bother even looking at the betting odds pre-tournament. Scheffler is a level ahead of the rest by some margin. His only weakness is his putting, but he's statistically in the top 3 in most of the important categories. Drives the ball well, & his approach play is fantastic, especially his short irons, coupled with great recovery play around the greens, makes him hard to beat even if his putting average. RE: The Masters - Boomerangutangangbang - 14-04-2024 20:57 Whatever happens, Ludwig Aberg has has a great Masters debut. You are not suppose to perform well on this course at your first attempt, it take a number of years to learn subtleties, like where to miss & reading the greens. He will take the game by storm at this rate. |
