There are other countries I would rather not see at the World Cup that are less deserving than Panama. Having seen the video of the commentators joy when they qualified I don't begrudge them being there at all.

Besides which if you are a Manchester United supporter than you will have a fresh Alexis Sanchez as this is the first summer he has had off for a number of years

"Kazan has come a long way since it fell to Ivan the Terrible in 1552".

Interesting commentary from Ally McCoist.

England's 5 first half goals against Panama is only the 5th time in World Cup history that a team has scored that many the first half of a match. The 6-1 final scoreline was also England's biggest ever World Cup win, the previous best being 3-0 which was achieved in 2002 against Denmark and twice in 1986 against Poland and Paraguay.

wonder what odds you'd get on Suarez biting a Russian player?

can't see Southgate going to make wholesale changes for Belgium unless he gives another keeper a keeper arun out and possibly change Sterling for Rashford. Just hoping Alli will be fit for knock out stages.

Lingard deserved the third goal as he'd been targeted by Panama's back three constantly and I was surprised the referee never gave out two red cards for Panama's man hsndling of Kane and the fouls on Lingard Panama were disgrace to South American football. How they qualified is beyond me. Was way more impressed with Colombia's demolition job on Poland the first European side to be eliminated in this competition my gut instinct tells they will be our first KO opponents.
