Bangladesh are chasing 322 to beat West Indies. With 14 overs left they are 264/3. Shakib with a quite brilliant century. Can they finish the job?

Oh you bet they can.
Cantered home with overs to spare.
Tremendous performance.

Easy victory for Bangladesh, reached the score with 51 balls to spare. A lot of the West Indies players look either too old or unfit.

I would say that Bangladesh could surprise everybody

After they bounced out Pakistan at the beginning of this tournament, and quickly thrashed the required runs, commentators were saying how exciting and refreshing West Indies looked. They almost beat Australia too and I don't think they played badly here either. I think this result was down to a stunning chase by Bangladesh, who batted brilliantly on the day, but had some luck as well. Balls lobbed up all over the place, but somehow just didn't go to hand, and Bangladesh powered to the second highest run chase in World Cup history.

England won the toss and decided to bat.
James Vince will come into the team and open the batting.

score predictions?

Yesterday was the halfway point in the group stage and the current top 4 in the table already look likely to be the final top 4. With 22 group matches still remaining it’s not looking like a greatest of formats.

I was expecting South Africa and the West Indies to do better and make a serious challenge for the top 4, in which case the format would have made for a potentially intruiging competition. Anyway there's still time for things to change, the table isn't cut and dried yet. If South Africa beat New Zealand tomorrow things could look a lot more interesting.

England finished 397-6 in their 50 overs. New record for the number of sixes scored in a ODI

The performance of the England innings was by Eoin Morgan who smashed an impressive 148.

Afghanistan star spinning bowler had the worse figures ever for a 50 over match 0-110 off 9 overs.
