I've done my dream team for the tournament. A starting eleven and five substitutes:

Starting Eleven - 3-4-3

Goalkeeper: Livakovic (Croatia)
Defenders: Hakimi (Morocco), Varane (France), L Martinez (Argentina)
Midfielders: Griezmann (France), Amrabat (Morocco), Gvardiol (Croatia), Saka (England)
Forwards: Mbappe (France), Messi (Argentina), J Alvarez (Argentina)

Substitutes

Goalkeeper: Bouno (Morocco)
Defender: Van Dijk (Netherlands)
Midfielder: Doan (Japan)
Forwards: Giroud (France), Gakpo (Netherlands)

If Sothgate does quit I would wonder if the FA would be treading carefully in terms of hiring a foreign coach after the Crapello reign. The only foreign coaches I think who could take England forward are probably the French coach, Klopp, or Tuchel. I know Klopp would turn it down simply because he probably feels the Liverpool job is his last or feels more attached to the German job. England should have gone after Scolari after Crapello as I think he would got a far better reaction from the players. Tuchel would be great but I think it may be too soon for him and probably needs more time at Chelsea.

In terms of British coaches I'd def go for either Brendan Rodgers or Eddie Howe or even prise Micheal Beale back from Rangers. Beale was doing a sterling job at QPR, before Rangers tempted him back to Ibrox and I'd def him have down as a candidate one day, but whether it would be again too soon for him remains to be seen.

I see the master's of the dark arts are up to their usual tricks.
The bump in the attackers back before the balls delivered
The elbow in the ribs of Lloris.

We will get the overacting followed by the harassment of the referee next.
Then there's obligitary taunting of the oppostion players.

A World Cup Final where I want both teams to lose. Any chance of a convenient Asteroid hitting the stadium?

Maybe a well placed Putin rocket could be aimed as well?

They have lessons on how to throw a leg out sideways and when the defender trips, then they go over.

Did you see when France had a free kick and Giroud was jostling for room. The Argentinian defender went down holding his head only for a reply to show that Giroud hadn't even touched him.

But I will begrudingly say that Argentinas second goal was a gem.
