Absolutely brilliant from Georgia, they were first class.
Scotland fans, myself included, use the small nation arguement and whilst it bares out in terms of winning tournaments & it does work against any of them, when you look at Georgia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Denmark, Switzerland, Austria all qualifying & teams like Wales & Croatia doing so in the past it can't be used for not getting out the group stages

I see that a lot of the pundits are clamoring for a few changes for the next match.
Mainoo, Gordon and Palmer all did well when they were introduced in the last match.
Southgate doesn't like much change and Mainoo's looking the one who will probably start.
If he doesn't play Gordon and Palmer, lets hope that he doesn't leave it too late before bringing on his impact players.

I would like him to put out his strongest side possible but above all else, let them off the leash indidividually and let them do it their way, It has been Southgate's way all through the group stages and it has been something of an unbearable watch. Now he has to let the players do it their way. If there is a time for them to stand up and be counted & perform - it is now.

I would bring Shaw if he definitely fit to fill in for Foden and Palmer behind Kane.

After listening to lots of punditry and a couple of handwringing podcasts, I’m gonna stick my neck out and say…
England is going to win the competition.
It’s hard to see how and I share everyone’s frustrations with personnel and tactics.
I say that only for the narrative that’s forming. I can just imagine the press conference at the end where Southgate says (without actually saying it): “you all f***ing doubted us, but look what we did.”
Cut to images of fan zones all over England singing “It’s coming home…”
