F1 2023 IS UNDERWAY!!!!!!

1st day of 2023 Pre-Season testing is underway in Bahrain

RE: Formula 1 - Snooks - 24-02-2023 00:18

Just hope this season is a whole lot more competitive. The 2022 season was the most one sided borefest I have seen in a long time.

RE: Formula 1 - Charlemagne - 03-03-2023 18:19

The surprise team during testing is Aston Martin... and Sebastian Vettel retired rather than spending another year in a slow car. Blush

Alonso putting some excellent times but Stroll needs to be replaced as he's obviously injured. (broken wrist)

RE: Formula 1 - Tumble_Drier - 03-03-2023 19:21

Stroll is a liability without a dodgy wrist. God knows what mayhem he will cause on Sunday.

^Told you so Bounce

RE: Formula 1 - Snooks - 05-03-2023 17:42

Already looks like it's gonna be another borefest of a season.
Zzzzzzzzzzz.

But, Red Bull as constructors champions have less time to use their wind tunnel and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics). Further, Red Bull have to serve a penalty for breaching cost cap rules which reduces their wind tunnel and CFD usage even more. So, if they don’t use their wind tunnel and CFD time wisely the other teams might be able to out develop their cars as the season progresses.

Alonso did well getting on the podium. He may have done better if he hadn't been shunted in the first round by Stroll.

Is it too late for them to get Norris into Aston Martin as his replacement.

Lance Strolls dad owns the Aston Martin team. So, unless Lances driving is catastrophically bad he is staying there.

Today's Saudi GP could be juicy.
Perez and Alonso sharing the front row
Leclerc and Verstappen starting in the bottom half and battling there way through the the field
